Edward N. Lewis, PE has the ability to deliver any written document in electronic format (Adobe Acrobat PDF). Adobe Acrobat PDF has the advantage that the files may be read on any computer platform using software that may be installed free-of-charge from the Adobe web site. Thus, users of Linux, Mac, Solaris, Palm OS and others may view deliverable in a format that has identical appearance to the corresponding printed document. Additionally, Adobe Acrobat facilitates password protection so files may be transferred with minimal security risk.

Frequently, the engineering deliverable is an interactive process where work product is issued in draft form. Pending receipt of comments, work product is delivered in a final form. Clients that have Adobe Acrobat (full version that costs approximately $200 from Adobe) have the opportunity to mark up work product electronically, thus eliminating much of the need for paper.

Work product may also be delivered in any of the following formats in addition to Acrobat (client's choice)
